Our benefits package offering
Medicash Healthcare cash plan
All company employees have Level 1 cover on Medicash’s Healthcare cash plan paid for by Hudgells. You can choose to increase your level of cover if you wish. This plan gives you peace of mind for day-to-day healthcare costs by allowing you to reclaim costs of routine healthcare such as dentist appointments, opticians appointments, prescriptions, physiotherapy, health screening, online and telephone GP access sessions. There are also various discounts available.
Corporate rate gym membership
We have corporate gym membership rates with Nuffield Health for its facilities in both Hull and Manchester Printworks. You will receive a 10 per cent discount if you take up a membership. As a Nuffield Health member you would also have access to its therapy offerings at a discounted rate as well as its app with free health and wellbeing advice on top of access to the full gym facilities.
Payroll Giving gives you the opportunity to make regular charity donations directly from your pay to any registered charity. This scheme runs through the Charities Trust who are accredited by HMRC. It’s a great way to make regular donations to your chosen charity and if you wish to, you can Gift Aid them to increase the value of your contribution as a UK tax payer.
Our social committee aims to provide activities that staff can participate in together outside of the workplace for celebrating specific achievements and also just for fun. The committee consists of representatives from each department who provide ideas for the committee to consider and then work together to organise them. These include social events, engagement and reward, and recognition for the business to get people together as a business and teams.
To support all of our staff get the most for their money, we have an arrangement with CoctCo for membership to be available to all of our staff. CostCo has warehouses all over the country as well as an online site and it provides discounts on limited time offers and bulk buys on a whole range of things from household appliances, to car tyres, food, toiletries.

We hold regular appraisals and talent mapping which addresses our people's technical and personal development needs. This enables us to build career pathways bespoke to them.
It's important to us to support individual memberships and accreditations to enable our people to attain their professional ambitions - these include The Law Society, APIL.

Pay reviews are conducted on an annual basis and follow a formal process of benchmarking salaries against the market to ensure we remain competitive.
We believe in recognising success and offer the potential for all staff to receive an annual bonus reflecting their personal contribution to the business.
We have a number of reward initiatives in place - our people receive vouchers for recommending new clients and new employees.
Ensuring our people are at their best
We understand the difficulties associated with balancing work and home life and as a commitment to our people we provide a flexible approach to working wherever possible.
We have a relaxed dress code where you dress according to your day. So if you’re in a client facing role or have visitors that day, dress business smart. If not, you can dress smart/ casual subject to the guidelines provided.
